Aleksandrs Vaļums has been appointed as the head of the association
Aleksandrs Vaļums has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Critically Important Raw Materials Manufacturers.
“This niche is new and experiencing rapid development in the world, which has been promoted by green policy and the formation of a responsible attitude towards the depleting underground resources. Latvia can successfully use this trend for its own benefit and for the development of the national economy, becoming one of the pioneers,” says the chairman of the new association.
He admits that one of the goals of the association is to promote the successful use and development of the potential of this niche in Latvia, as well as the attraction of foreign and local investments, which will promote the growth of the Latvian economy and be part of the economic transformation.
